About Karingallery

Karingallery is run as an access studio for artists with a disability. It provides studio facilities in drawing, painting, screen printing, fine art printing, ceramics, papier mache, bookwork and mail art. The studio is staffed by qualified and practicing artists who offer studio artists the autonomy to choose their projects and work independently with support only where appropriate. Skills development and professional quality materials are available for all studio work.

Make Room for Art Nov 9 - 27

The street front space of our studios provides a gallery where artists exhibit their work. We hold eleven show a year, of which five are exclusively studio artists.

Our exhibition calendar encompasses diverse shows and talents, encouraging experimentation. For our 'Dog Show' in 2006 artists exhibited close to 100 papier mache dogs and drawings. Other sell out shows were 'The Ark' with hundreds of ceramic animals.

We were established in 1997 and have supported local and studio artists in over 140 exhibitions.
